Echocardiogram
An echocardiogram is a test that uses ultrasound to show how your heart muscle and valves are working. The sound waves make moving pictures of your heart so your doctor can get a good look at its size and shape

Dr. Jason Mattews

Academic interventional cardiologist and an expert in the field of coronary and valve and structural cardiology. As the principal investigator on multiple research grants. Dr. Mattews oversees studies focusing on valvular and structural heart disease, clinical trials in coronary artery disease.

Dr. John Andrews

DR. Andrews, is the Scripps Professor in Cardiovascular Medicine at the Mayo Clinic . He has been a member of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine for 40 years, primarily involved in interventional cardiology, electrophysiology and pacing, patient care and cardiovascular education.

Dr. Kelly Anderson

Associate professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto.
She is director of the Cardiac Prevention and Rehabilitation Centre and Women’s Cardiovascular Health in the Division of Cardiology at St. Michael’s Hospital.
Electrocardiogram
Test that checks how your heart is functioning by measuring the electrical activity of the heart. With each heart beat, an electrical impulse (or wave) travels through your heart

Hypertension
A condition in which the force of the blood against the artery walls is too high. Usually hypertension is defined as blood pressure above 140/90, and is considered severe if the pressure is above 180/120. High blood pressure often has no symptoms.
